So One Plus released the most awaited and budget friendly flagship smartphone of 2018. One Plus has upgraded its specification in every department of One Plus 6 from its predecessor 5T. The phone is now having 6.28” inch of display with optic AMOLED touchscreen with the resolution of 1080×2280 pixels.

The major upgrade the smartphone this year is the camera and the 6.28” of screen having 18:9 aspect ratio with a notch smaller than the other flagship smartphones. The updated design also have glass on the back and the front of the phone. One Plus 6 also have an upgraded dual camera setup in which primary camera is 16MP Sony IMX 519, with pixel size of 1.22µm having an aperture f1.7, enabling the OIS+EIS, dual LED flash is also present. The secondary camera uses 20MP Sony IMX 376K, pixel size is 1.0µm, having an aperture of f1.7.

One Plus 6 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with an option of 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The storage option is also variable having 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage depending upon the price and region of release. This year the company have shifted the front facing fingerprint scanner to rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. 16MP front-facing camera with ‘Portrait Mode’ is also an upgrade to the camera lovers. Surprisingly the phone is 7.8 mm thin and still have the headphone jack. The phone comes up with Android Oreo out of the box.
The One Plus 6 will be available in three different colors. Midnight Black and Mirror Black will be available to buy from the firm’s official website starting from 22nd May. The “limited edition” Silk White version will be available to buy from June 2018.
